Biggest Needs

Cornerback

Offensive tackle

Defensive tackle

Safety

Previous Picks

1. Chiefs-Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M

2. Jags- Geno Smith, QB, WVU

3. Raiders- Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida

After the over-hyped “dream team” crashed and burned after just two seasons, the Eagles are picking in the top-5 of the NFL Draft for the first time since they took Donovan McNabb with the second overall selection in the 1999 NFL Draft. The re-signing of Michael Vick will likely prevent them from going QB this early, and they’ll likely look to strengthen their trench players, either on the offensive or defensive line.

Being though that Chip Kelly is coming from the college ranks at Oregon, he knows exactly what defensive end Dion Jordan can become at the NFL level, and the Eagles could use another pass-rushing threat to pair with the aging Trent Cole, so we would be surprised to see Jordan go here, even though he projects as a pass-rushing linebacker at the NFL level.
