The New England Patriots have agreed to terms with defensive tackle Tommy Kelly on a two-year contract. Kelly finished the 2012 season with 45 tackles and one sack while starting all 16 games with the Oakland Raiders.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Cowboys are in contract talks with free agent right tackle Eric Winston. Along with Andre Smith and Tyson Clabo, he is one of the best free agent tackles left on the market, and if he does sign with the Cowboys, we could see progress on deals for Smith and Clabo.

The New Orleans Saints have agreed to terms with safety Jim Leonhard. He spent the 2012 season as a backup with the Denver Broncos as he appeared in all 16 games (1 start) while registering 18 tackles and two interceptions.

As JaMarcus Russell attempts his NFL comeback after being labeled one of the biggest busts in the history of the NFL Draft, he announced today that he’s canceled his April 10 Pro Day-style workout. Instead, he’ll work out for teams individually.
