Do the Panthers choose to upgrade one of the worst defensive units in the NFL, or do they opt to give franchise quarterback Cam Newton some help on offense. With the aging Steve Smith being the Panther’s only legitimate receiving threat, it’s time to give Newton a receiver he can make his go-to guy, and open up the Carolina offense that struggled last year when defenses were able to contain Newton and shut down the run game.
With the draft’s top-3 receivers still on the board, it’s simply a matter of who they think is the best receiver in the draft.
Previous Pick: Tampa Bay Bucs- Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington
Next up: New Orleans Saints
