ICYMI: Cincinnati Bengals: 7-Round NFL Mock Draft

1 of 3

It’s here! Draft time! What an exciting time to be a Bengals fan. The Bengals have drafted well as of late and it looks like this draft might be setting them up for another alley-oop slam dunk. Enough basketball metaphors, let’s talk football. The Bengals are a young team and honestly could get younger with year’s draft and are looking for that next young superstar. This draft is chock full of talent and Cincinnati will waste no time getting off on the right foot.

Pick 1, 21st overall: Kenny Vaccaro, Safety, Texas.

Safety is a position the Bengals have yet to address, and a speed position on the football field. Vaccaro is a guy who offers the speed and quickness necessary to not only fulfill the demands of this position, but be able to come in and make an immediate impact in 2013. Look for Vaccaro, or another top safety at this pick.

Pick 2a, 37th overall: Arthur Brown, Linebacker, Kansas State.

Yes, another Big 12 guy, and yes maybe not the most notable linebacker on the draft board. At 6 foot and 241lbs, Brown is a quick and versatile player with a nose for the football. Brown was the 2012 Big 12 Defensive player of the year and will not disappoint fans if he is asked to start immediately and fill in at the linebacker position.
