Scouting Report/Player Notes via NFL Mocks
"Big, rangy safety who can make all the plays on the back end. He’s got some technique flaws to clean up, but you’re looking at a guy who has risen from relative unknown/underrated draft prospect to a near sure-fire first round or top 50 selection. He is probably the best overall strong safety prospect in the draft with the ability to play downfield or centerfield. You will see in the scouting video below what kind of potential he truly has with an interception of Teddy Bridgewater near the sideline, one of the better quarterbacks in the country. Capable of delivering huge hits and looks like he could develop into a really solid team leader. He’s not the kind of safety prospect we saw come out last year with Mark Barron of Alabama going in the first five picks, but I think Cyprien could really upgrade the secondary of a contender late in the first round of the draft, or he’ll be a building block for a young team early on day two."
