The Cincinnati Bengals appear to be signing Notre Dame receiver John Goodman:

Here is his Notre Dame Athletics Profile

"2012: Saw action in 10 games … recorded seven receptions on the season, and three resulted in touchdowns and two exceeded 35 yards … registered 159 receiving yards and a 22.7 yard per catch average … hauled in a 50-yard touchdown pass from sophomore QB Everett Golson against Wake Forest (Nov. 17) … hauled in an 18-yard touchdown pass from to give Notre Dame a 21-3 lead at Boston College (Nov. 10) … registered a spectacular 36-yard, one-handed grab in the victory at No. 10 Michigan State (Sept. 15) … had a critical 10-yard grab on the game-winning drive in the fourth quarter against Purdue (Sept. 8) … helped the Irish convert a third-and-six play from the Notre Dame 49-yard line … started in the season opener against Navy (Sept. 1) … finished out the regular season with one catch against USC (Nov. 24) for 23 yards."

Here is a March story on Goodman as he prepared for the NFL Draft:

"A U.S. Army All-American coming out of high school, many thought Goodman had the makings of a star when he arrived in South Bend. However, Goodman’s career numbers – 35 receptions, 474 yards, four touchdowns – weren’t as eye-popping as he would have liked.Since the BCS Championship game in early January Goodman has been working out at AWP in Fort Wayne hoping to get a shot at the NFL. The 2013 NFL Draft begins this Thursday and runs through Saturday. Goodman could be picked in the later round or, more likely, will get an opportunity as a free agent. At 6-foot-3, 215 pounds Goodman is a big target with good speed. He says he’s spoken with the Denver Broncos recently and has heard from the Steelers. His agent is Fort Wayne-based Roosevelt Barnes."
