So here are my choices for the practice squad. I like Brandon Joiner but he needs to get back in football shape and learn how to be a pro. In 2014 he could kick James Harrison to the curb. Jordan Campbell is an intriguing prospect. When I watched his highlight reel I didn’t necessarily see a linebacker. I hope they try him out as a strong safety because I love his side line to side line speed and his anticipation. He reminds me of Troy Palamalu if we could give him the right coaching and bring him along. Reid Fragel needs to work on his technique and bulk up but I think he can eventually be a good right tackle taking over for Dennis Roland. I project Tanner Hawkinson as a right guard as I don’t think he has the feet to play either tackle spot. McCaleb runs a 4.2 forty, nuff said. And T.J. Johnson, we’ve had a good deal of luck with late round centers, I think we should keep the trend going. Strong safety Tony Dye may need to be brought onto the 53 man squad as soon as we figure out Mays is not coachable and will probably be released sometime during the season.

Practice Squad

SS/LB: Jordan Campbell (Watch his film and he will remind you of a very raw Troy Palamalu)
CB: Chris Lewis-Harris
C: T.J. Johnson
T: Tanner Hawkinson
T: Reid Fragel
LB: Brandon Joiner
CB: Ontario McCaleb
SS: Tony Dye
