Jordan Campbell: The Cincinnati Bengals Future Star Linebacker?

I may be one of the few, but I am a really huge fan of Jordan Campbell. I was a fan of him before the Bengals even signed him as an UDFA. I first saw his videos on YouTube, and he intrigued me, heck, he even motivated me to help me get into shape and continue to work on numerous things in my life:

Now, Jordan Campbell once played on USC, but transferred to Louiseville after the Pete Carroll scandal. Due to those sanctions, an academic issue, and a false rumor that he hired an agent allowed him to not play a snap for the Cards. He then came up in New Mexico Highlands University. Once there, he was a starter and had an immediate impact on the team.

"“Q: What is something all NFL Scouts need to know about Jordan Campbell? Campbell: I have already been able to play for four NFL coaches and two linebacker coaches from the NFL. I understand NFL schemes and I am able to adapt to NFL plans. Q: What did you learn from Pete Caroll during your time at USC and from Charlie Strong while at Louisville? Campbell: Pete Caroll taught me how to play and execute at a high level and practice fast. He ran his practices like NFL practices and brought an NFL practice program. Charlie Strong was a in your face SEC type coaching. He demands a lot out of his players and toughness. He taught me how to play tough and physical. Q: What made you pick New Mexico Highlands University? Campbell: It was close to my home in California for one. Wanted to challenge myself and do something special. New Mexico Highlands University was ranked the worst football team in its division. Ranked 142/142. I wanted to help make them good and do something that had never been done there and give them a winning season. This past season we accomplished that finishing the season 8-2 and that was the first time that was done since 1998. Q: In your opinion what was the best thing you accomplished during your college football career? Campbell: One was signing to USC. That year I signed it was rated the number one draft class in the nation and I was happy to be a part of that. The other is while at New Mexico Highlands University breaking the single season record for tackles for losses in 2011 with 28.5 TFL’S. Q: What is your biggest strength as a linebacker? Campbell: Experience and knowledge. I got to play on the same team with five future first round draft picks like Clay Matthews, Rey Maualuga, and Brian Cushing. And I was playing for Pete Carroll. I was able to pick their brain and I was like a sponge gathering up information. I can dissect plays before the snaps and be a field general."
