Injury update: A.J. Green Looks Fine. Andre Smith Back Sunday

The Cincinnati Bengals appear to have avoided disaster on the first day of training camp. After A.J. Green went up for a deep ball during passing drills, he landed very awkwardly on his leg, and after a few minutes on the ground, he walked off of the field under his own power:

After initial scare, A.J. Green appeared OK. Looked like left knee, but he walked off without limp. #Bengals.

And there is some good news on offensive tackle Andre Smith, who will open the camp on the NFI list due to a calf injury:

Lewis typically likes to give some of his veterans af ew days of rest before camp really kicks into gear in order to give rookies more reps and gauge where they’re at, and how much they could potentially contribute in the upcoming season, so don’t worry about Smith just yet.
We’ll keep you posted on any updates regarding A.J. Green. There should be an offical diagnosis of what he suffered by tonight, or early tomorrow morning.
