The Philadelphia Eagles have already lost wide receiver Jeremy Maclin to a season-ending ACL tear, and the Baltimore Ravens are now holding their breaths regarding the status of Pro Bowl tight end Dennis Pitta:

This has been a very bad day for the NFL in general. You never want to see this many players injured, let alone in the first week of training camp. Most of these teams are only conducting their first or second practice.
