Cornerback and Safety (10): Leon Hall, Dre Kirkpatrick, Adam Jones, Terrance Newman, Brandon Ghee, Shaun Prater, Reggie Nelson, Shawn Williams, George Iolka,  Jeromy Miles.

There is ugly and then there is the game Dre Kirkpatrick had against the Cowboys, with that said he’s a competitor, and that game could be the humbling experience that he needed to prove he was worth the 17th pick in last years draft. Taylor Mays just can’t seem to put it all together and I believe the Bengals feel he might have capped out.   The question will be who will start at strong safety vs the Bears? My answer to that is good question.  I really believe that if they were going to bring in a veteran other than Chris Croker they would have done it.

Special Teams (3): K Mike Nugent, P Kevin Huber, LS Clark Harris

These three are as safe as ever and I think all Bengals fans hope Mike Nugent can make it through a season.

There you have it, every year there are some surprises and I’m sure this year will be no different.  The team is pretty well set.  The roster has an interesting blend of veterans and young guys. Now it’s up to the coaches to use a perceived deep and talented roster to its fullest.
