It appears as though the Cincinnati Bengals have their roster set with today’s waving/releasing of severa player, including 2011 third-round draft pick Dontay Moch:
Moch has had a great preseason and the Bengals were trying to cash-in on that by letting teams know he was available for trade. Even with Lamur’s injury, don’t be surprised o see the Bengals give Moch up for a sixth-round draft pick. He’s shown a lot of promise, but his inability to stay healthy makes him a risky prospect. Injury, suspension and ineffectiveness have limited the 2011 third-rounder to a total of five career snaps.
It’s one of few draft failures over the past three seasons, and hopefully, Moch will live up to his potential with another NFL team, unless the Bengals mange to get him onto the practice squad.
