It was a monumental win only if the Bengals take the momentum gained from it and continue to improve throughout the rest of the year. With games against the New England Patriots, at the Detroit Lions, the Indianapolis Colts, and two games against the Baltimore Ravens, there’s no rest for the weary, and especially a team that wants to win a playoff game for the first time in two decades.

This win can certainly help propel them towards their goals, but if it will remains too be seen.

It has to be near the top.  It was the first game in the history of the NFL where a team was ahead by 14, down by 16 managed to reassert itself and win.  With a team this young, the encasing of a “never say die” attitude, especially against a historical powerhouse like Green Bay, can’t be understated.  However, while this was an exciting game independently, only time will tell if this is going to mark the rising of something larger.

The trifecta would be Pittsburgh, Green Bay and New England all chalked up as Wins in the first five weeks…
