Giovanni Bernard is really the obvious choice here, but Leon Hall is playing possessed so far this season.  Maybe its just been a while since I’ve seen him true to form, but he is making a real statement thus far in the secondary, ball hawking more, stopping receivers at the point of reception, and even getting to running backs near the line of scrimmage.

On the flipside, Orson Charles needs to see the field and make a statement.  Right now he hasn’t been utilized at all in the first three games, which makes him only a little more than the fourth tight end on the roster.  If that’s all that he is going to be, I’m not sure I think that’s a sound trade off for full back like John Conner.

Michael Johnson is an obvious choice but Gio Bernard is my pick. Everytime he has been involved in an offensive drive, the Bengals have looked better and is yet another mis-match for defenses to deal with. Andy Dalton is my player to step up.

He needs to put up some numbers and get his accuracy under control. He’s been playing well enough to win games which is the key thing but his deep ball still needs work.
