In a game that figured to be low-scoring with two of league’s best defenses featured in today’s matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and New York Jets, there’s already been 21 points cored by the Bengals, and it could have been more if not for a stop on fourth-and-goal at the 2-yard line.
Regardless, Bengals WR Marvin Jones is having a career day vs the Jets, having already caught four catches for 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Coming into the day, Jones was on a nice hot-streak, having caught seven passes for 128 yards and two TDs in the past two games, but he’s already on pace to surpass those numbers in the first-half.
If he can keep this up and punish opposing defenses for double-teaming A.J. Green, this offense will finally be able to compliment what’s become one of the NFL’s best defenses.
