It’s understandable that a lot of people think Green-Ellis had a very good game against the Patriots, but he only averaged 3.5 YPC. He rushed six more times than Bernard, but Bernard had only 7 yards less than Green-Ellis. In fact, this was Green-Ellis’ best game this season, and he has averaged under 3 YPC three out of five games. Bernard?  He has had below a 4.8 YPC game once this year.

It’s obvious Bernard is the better overall back even though Green-Ellis is the veteran. Yes, Green-Ellis can get you hard-earned yards, but how many times has lack of speed and vision hurt his running style? He plows forward no matter what, even in there isn’t a hole. It’s time to give Giovani Bernard around 15-20 rushing attempts.

4. Andy Dalton and AJ Green on the Same Page

There have been quite a few times this year where miscommunication transpired between these two players. Whether it is Green or Dalton’s fault, that should not be the question. The question is: when will this issue be fixed? The Bengals offense has been stagnant at times and needs to blow up for the Bengals to actually be considered contenders. They have left far too many points on the board, and this is on two of the Bengals leaders. Hopefully, Dalton and Green pan it out this game and for the remainder of the season.
