It looks like the Cincinnati Bengals will lose offensive tackle Reid Fragel, who was on the team’s practice squad, to the Cleveland Browns after the team reportedly signed him.
I’d say the report is accurate, since it’s from Reid Fragel himself:
Maybe it was hacked?
In all seriousness, it’s great to see Fragel get to live out his NFL dreams, as likely get to play at some point now this year. There opportunity may have never come with the Bengals. He played both tight end and offensive tackle for the Ohio State Buckeyes in college, and many Ohioans were glad to see him stay with an Ohio team in Cincinnati.
With the No. 240 overall pick in April’s NFL Draft, the Bengals nabbed Fragel at a spot most viewed him as a solid pickup, but he was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster.
