1

Broncos

7-1

On bye and no one wanted to take their spot.

1

2

Chiefs

9-0

9-0 but 1 win against a team with a winning record (Dal 5-4). Very unimpressive in close wins the last 3 weeks (Buf, Cle, Hou).

3

3

49ers

6-2

Another benefit of the bye week and teams at the top sucking.

6

4

Patriots

7-2

The Patriots have not been healthy and they are 7-2 with their only losses coming to NYJ and Cin. Now, they are getting healthy.

10

5

Saints

6-2

Falling to a team that lost the previous week by 40 (NYJ) brings your team into question.

2

6

Seahawks

8-1

After being behind all game to a terrible TB team and their enormous struggles on the road, the Seahawks are looking shaky.

5

7

Bengals

6-3

Maybe they started believing all the hype they were getting. The loss of Atkins hurts big time.

7

8

Colts

6-2

A comeback win, but against a really bad Texans team. If not for the Kubiak situation, the Colts lose that game.

8

9

Lions

5-3

The Lions have Calvin Johnson. The Bears and Packers have injured QBs.

9

10

Panthers

5-3

Newton might be figuring things out in the NFL.

11

11

Cardinals

4-4

The Cardinals have weapons on offensive and a worthy defense. 3 of the 4 losses are to Sea, NO, SF (combined 19-4).

12

12

Bears

5-3

McCown was impressive and the defense is still strong.

15

13

Packers

5-3

Without Rodgers, this is a suspect roster. Without Rodgers, Cobb, Finley and Matthews, the Packers may be in trouble.

4

14

Cowboys

5-4

They are over .500 but far from good.

14

15

Titans

4-4

If Chris Johnson is back, the Titans can be a playoff contender.

16

16

Chargers

4-4

You just can’t trust this team. They just have the looks of an “around .500 team”…just with a new coach

13

17

Jets

5-4

I put them here very reluctantly. 5-4 after 9 games is roughly 4-5 more wins than I thought they would have at this point. Give them credit.

22

18

Dolphins

4-4

They beat the Bengals, but did not look impressive doing so…oh yeah, and they have managed to  become the circus in a division that has the Jets.

18

19

Ravens

3-5

Did Joe Flacco sign a new contract or win a lottery ticket? It could be up for debate.

17

20

Browns

4-5

They beat the Ravens, but I just can’t rank this team above last years Super Bowl champs yet.

23

21

Eagles

4-5

7 TDs on the West Coast against a defense that was supposed to be good is impressive. They are also 0-4 at home?

29

22

Redskins

3-5

They are playing better and may just have enough time to make a run in the worst division in football.

25

23

Bills

3-6

The Bills are a pleasant surprise that gave the Chiefs all they could handle. A good defense and an underrated offense.

20

24

Giants

2-6

Despite being 2-6 and an innate ability to give the ball to the opposing team, they still have a a shot at the division.

24

25

Rams

3-6

Kellen Clemens has filled in admirably, but this team was a below .500 team with it’s starting QB.

19

26

Raiders

3-5

The Raiders may have been exposed as a fraud by the immortal Nick Foles and his 4-5 Eagles.

21

27

Falcons

2-6

I saw the Falcons taking a step back this year. 2-6 at the midway point is not what I was thinking.

28

28

Texans

2-6

Amazing to think this team may be done 8 games into the season.

26

29

Steelers

2-6

See the Falcons analysis and change the name to the Steelers.

27

30

Vikings

1-7

The Vikings had life against the Cowboys. Not enough to save a terrible season – or to win the game for that matter

30

31

Buccaneers

0-8

Nearly won in the most difficult venue in sports….nearly. Schiano might want to focus his long nights on his resume rather than game film.

31

32

Jaguars

0-8

Are they the worst NFL team or the best amateur team? Does it matter?
