The Green Bay Packers have dealt with injuries to their best players all season, and they’ve lost their top defensive back for the year after they placed CB Casey Hayward on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury. Hayward suffered a setback with his hamstring in Week 10 and will end his season having only played 88 snaps in three games.

The St. Louis Rams have placed CB Cortland Finnegan on injured reserve due to an eye injury, and also placed QB Brady Quinn on injured reserve with a hip injury. To fill the two roster spots, the Rams activated rookie safety T.J. McDonald and elevated CB Quinton Pointer from the practice squad.

Baltimore Ravens Pro Bowl tight end Pitta remains on injured reserve-designated to return and wasn’t activated before today’s NFL transaction deadline, meaning he’s not eligible to play in Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. According to Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports, the Ravens should have him back Thursday when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thanksgiving night.
