Pittsburgh and Baltimore won this past week and are now in position to win a Wild Card, or even win the AFC North. With the two teams playing Thanksgiving, the winner will be just 1.5 games behind the Bengals, who sit atop the AFC North with a 2-game lead but are facing a tough road-challenge against the Chargers. The Steelers host Cincinnati in Week 15 on Sunday Night Football in a game that could end up deciding the division.
The Ravens are tied for the league lead with 37 sacks, while Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger has been sacked 36 times, the third most in the NFL. But since becoming Ravens head coach, John Harbaugh has lost three of five games against the Steelers at M & T Bank Stadium. Getting back to .500 would be huge for either team, especially a Steelers team that looks to have hit their stride after an embarrassing 0-4 start.
Whoever loses this game will be on life-support in terms of their postseason hopes.
