The LSU Tigers held their annual Senior Day today against the Arkansas Razorbacks, but it’s their underclassman who have NFL scouts excited the most. While senior quarterback is getting all of the attention, it could by junior wide receiver Jarvis Landry who hears his name called first in next May’s NFL Draft.
When asked about Senior Day, Landry admitted he realizes it might be his final game in Tiger Stadium.
"“There are going to be emotions (for me) but the beginning of the game is going to be about the seniors and the end of the game is going to be about the seniors,” Landry said. “When the game starts that’s going to be my emotional time. “My decision will be based on talking to my momma and my brother, but also after doing a lot of praying. I’m going to let God make the decision for me.”"
Landry is known for making highlight-reel catches, but he may have topped all of them today against the Arkansas Razorbacks. With his team down late in the fourth-quarter, he made what may end up being the play of the game as he went over a defender to not only prevent an interception, but also manged to haul the pass in:
