Injury Update on Kevin Zeitler; No Setback for Vontaze Burfict

UPDATE #;44 p.m.

It appears earlier reports of Zeitler practicing were erroneous:

The Cincinnati Bengals lost one starting guard this week when they had to place Clint Boling on the injured reserve list due to a torn ACL, but they may be getting back their other starting guard this week if Kevin Zeitler is able to play Sunday. After missing the past two games (3 weeks including bye), Zeitler was finally able to get back onto the practice field today, but it was only in a limited capacity:

As Harvey stated, every other Bengals was able to practice, which means Vontaze Burfict doesn’t appear to have suffered a setback with his injured ankle during Sunday’s win over the San Diego Chargers. Given the fact he sprained the ankle on Friday and almost didn’t play Sunday, it would have been very easy for him to incur a more serious injury if he were to have hurt the ankle during the game.

Thankfully, he not only played and didn’t suffer a setback, but he led all players with 13 tackles and was a key reason the Bengals held the red-hot Chargers offense to a mere 10 points. It looks like the Bengals will have everyone available on Sunday vs. the Indianapolis Colts.
