The Cincinnati Bengals will likely have starting offensive line this Sunday that hasn’t been seen this year, and they’re hoping starting right guard Kevin Zeitler is part of it. They’ve already placed Clint Boling on the injured reserve list due to a torn ACL, and with Andrew Whitworth likely moving down to his left guard spot while Anthony Collins occupies the left tackle spot, they’d like to have Zeitler back to ensure some continuity, and all indications have been he’ll play vs. the Colts:
After missing the past two games (three weeks including the bye), Zeitler was finally able to get back onto the practice field today, and after Marvin Lewis said after Sunday’s win over the Chargers that Zeitler was expected to play this week, it looks like the team may have held him out last week as more of a precautionary measure.
But they need him now with Boling out, even though Mike Pollak played well in relief of Zeitler and theoretically could perform just as well at left guard.
