Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Cameron

Cameron had four catches for 43 yards Sunday against the Jaguars. He was targeted seven times and a combined 24 times in his last three games. Despite this, he’s not reached 45 yards in any of those games. Whether it be fantasy football or real football, it’s a “what have you done for me lately” business. As Cameron’s last three games show, he’s not doing much for anyone lately:

The yardage numbers wouldn’t be bad if he had touchdowns to go with them. In his first seven games, he recorded six TDs, making him a viable option since he was averaging close to one TD per game.

But he hasn’t reached the endzone in 5-straight games. It’s time to sit him, and depending on what backup TE options you have on your roster or on the waiver wire, it may be worth dropping him all together. Especially since his new QB may be newly singed Caleb Haine.
