The Cincinnati Bengals lost starting cornerback Terence Newman to a knee injury late ins Sunday’s 42-28 win over the Indianapolis Colts, but Bengals Head Coach Marvin Lewis didn’t sound like he thought it was too serious during his Monday press conference:
Lewis says Newman is sore. Gauge as week goes on.

Lewis on Newman -- "he's a little sore". Considering he was in a knee brace and not moving it at all, that's more than sore

And bout 10 minutes after Lewis made those comments, ESPN’s Chris Mortenson reported that it’s a sprained MCL that Newman is dealing with:
Bengals relieved that CB Terrence Newman will miss only 1-to-3 weeks with MCL sprain, per sources.
