When the Cincinnati Bengals held their Thursday morning practice without offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth on the field, most brushed it off as it being a rest day for him.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t appear to be the case, as the eigth-year lineman appears to be the latest Bengals player to suffer a concussion:

Regarded as one of the NFL’s best tackles, Whitworth has transitioned to the guard position over the past three weeks in order to account for the loss of starting left guard Clint Boling.
If Whit misses Sunday, that will likely mean Mike Pollak goes from right to left guard while Kevin Zeitler comes off the bench and back into his starting spot on the right side.
Pro Football focus Writer Jake Liscow said it best:
For those counting, that could be 2 starting CBs, DE, LT, LG, RG, SLB, DT, nickel LB not playing. 6 defensive guys, 3 OL. Jeeze.
