Fantasy Football: Championship Edition

Redskins QB Kirk Cousins
Robert Griffin III won’t play again this year for the Washington Redskins as they look to Kirk Cousin again this week vs. the Dallas Cowboys. It will be the third career start for Cousins, who made a promising debut last week against the Falcons, throwing for 381 yards and three touchdowns in last Sunday’s loss at Atlanta.
Cousins and the Redskins get a favorable matchup this week against a struggling Dallas Cowboys defense, and next week against the New York Giants also is an enticing matchup if your league has a championship in Week 17.
According FFToday.com, the Cowboys have allowed the most point to opposing QBs in 2013. Cousins gets to show off for prospective trade partners in the final games of the season, and may be a guy who ends up being a draftable QB in 2014 fantasy football drafts.
For now, he’s a worthy starting option. I will preface this by saying if you picking him up and already have a quality QB on your team you may be in a bit of a quandary.
