49ers RB Frank Gore

The 49ers are among the league’s best in running the ball thanks to Frank Gore, and against an Atlanta Falcons defense that gives up 134 rushing yards per game, Gore is poised for a big game.

Not only that, but the Falcon have allowed 12 rushing touchdowns this season and are giving up 4.6 yards per carry, the third-worst average in the NFL.

While Gore has lost a little speed in his ninth NFL season, he had enough speed to knock the Seattle Seahawks down for good in his previous game at Candlestick Park.

His 51-yard run set up a winning field goal in a 19-17 win Dec. 8, and it capped a 110-yard day against one of the league’s better overall defenses.

He’s gotten 80-plus yards in five of his past six games at Candlestick Park, which will see it’s last NFL game on Monday Night Football. He may not be a game-changer in your fantasy football championship game, but he’s guaranteed to get you at least 10-12 points and not hurt your team, so long as he’s healthy.

Start Gore vs. the Falcons.
