The Cleveland Browns are in the market for a new head coach after they fired Rob Chudzinski last night, and one has to think current Cincinnati Bengals Defensive Coordinator Mike Zimmer might be on their mind.
They do have a defensive coordinator in mind, but it isn’t Zimmer at least not yet anyway. It’s Seattle Seahawks DC Dan Quinn:
#Browns already have their first head coaching candidate lined up: #Seahawks DC Dan Quinn. Rising star.

Quinn has previously worked as the defensive line coach for the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers, all of whom have some of the better defensive lines in the NFL right now with at least some credit going to Quinn. Just last year though, he was the defensive coordinator for the Florida Gators.
Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase is the only other candidates the Browns have asked to talk to.
Some of the other hotter coaching names include OC Darrell Bevell in Seattle, OC Jay Gruden in Cincinnati, DC Sean McDermott of Carolina, and, James Franklin of Vanderbilt and Bill O’Brien out of Penn State.
