Newcomers of the Year – WR Alshon Jeffery

After an uneventful rookie year, Jeffery exploded this year.  He even had more catches and yards then his Chicago counterpart Brandon Marshall. The two receivers were the best duo in the league on an offense that did everything it could to make up for a horrible defense.

If Jeffery is there in the third round next year I would have no problem pulling the trigger.

QB Nick Foles

As the strange career of Mike Vick ends, at least as a starting quarterback. Nick Foles will enter this offseason as the clear starter in Philadelphia, and rightfully so. Now here is a what if for you, what if Andy Ried had traded for Foles instead of Alex Smith? Of course he didn’t and Smith did an admirable job managing the Chiefs offense.

Despite not playing in four games Foles accounted for 30 touchdowns to only 2 int’s! That shows you that a quarterback can be aggressive and score but doesn’t have to be careless with the football. Might we start seeing  a trend of teams drafting quarterbacks in the middle rounds, sitting them for a year, and then handing them the reigns?

Despite Foles season I think he will last until the 3rd round next year, If possible I would pair him with McCoy and build the roster from there.
