The Cincinnati Bengals are in an uncomfortable position right now as they’re forced to sit back and watching both of their top coordinators interview with various NFL teams this week.
It’s almost a given at this point that one of the five current openings will be filled by either Mike Zimmer and/or Jay Gruden, and the Minnesota Vikings could be one of those teams:
Bengals DC Mike Zimmer is scheduled to interview for the Vikings HC today, and then the Titans HC on Thursday.

And Peter King’s thoughts on Mike Zimmer as a head coach:
Mike Zimmer Should Be A Head Coach Stat of Week:

Cin in playoffs 4 of last 5 yrs w/Zimmer as DC. Offense ranked 20 or lower 3 of those yrs.
Hard to disagree with that. The man has done a lot of great things for the Bengals as he’s been a key reason why they’ve enjoyed three-straight postseason appearances.
The man deserves to be a head coach, and this is the year he may finally get that opportunity. The Bengals should probably just hope at this point it’s not in the AFC.
The Bengals do play the Titans next year, and it would be a tough pill to swallow seeing him on the opposing sideline.
