Penn State hopes to have a head coach in place this week, but after it looked as though Franklin was the likely choice, it now appears as though they may turn to San Francisco 49ers Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman:

If Penn State chooses to with Roman or some other candidate, that leaves Franklin as an option for both Cleveland and the Washington Redskins:
