The AFC Championship game will see another edition of Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning, as the Denver Broncos will host the New England Patriots for the right to advance to the Super Bowl.
The Patriots made it after a 43-22 drubbing of the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday night. Running back LeGarrette Blount ran for a team playoff record 166 yards on 24 carries and four touchdowns, while the defense picked-off Colts quarterback Andrew Luck four times. This will be the third-straight year the Pats have made it to the conference championship round.
The Broncos will be playing in the first AFC title game since 2006 after holding off the San Diego Chargers today by a score of 24-17. Peyton Manning threw for 230 yards and two TDs to help Denver win for the second time in three games this year against the Chargers.
This AFC Championship will be played next Sunday on CBS at 3:00 p.m. EST in Denver, Colorado.
