Bengals Free Agency Update: Safety Danieal Manning Visit

With what has been a quite free agency period for the Bengals it looks like they are taking a look at former Texans safety Danieal Manning.

According to Houston Texans insider John McClain the Bengals are back at it in free agency hosting safety Danieal Manning who’s was cut by the Texans. Manning 31, spent his first five seasons in Chicago and the last three in Houston. Recovering from a broken leg suffered in October. Manning could fill the Chris Crocker role, and to the Bengals delight wouldn’t count against compensatory picks in 2015 because he was cut. If Manning can regain his 2012 form he would be a nice signing for a Bengals secondary that is in need of some reinforcements, however he is only a stopgap much like Chris Crocker was. This signing still would not keep the Bengals from drafting a safety.
