The Bengals will play their divisional opponents twice, as always, and they’ll meet the AFC South, the NFC South, and then the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots as a result of earning a first place schedule. It will be interesting to see how many games the Bengals, on a string of three straight trips to the playoffs, will get on primetime. As much as any team in the league, they’ve earned some nationally televised games. The NFL also has the ability to flex games to the Sunday night spot, if they warrant it, and this could happen as early as week five. The Bengals will face a tough slate of games this year, and making a return trip to the playoffs won’t be easy. Tonight, fans can see that gauntlet officially.
