Guards

  1. G/T  Zack Martin
  2. Xavier Su’a-Filo
  3. Joel Bitonio
  4. Gabe Jackson
  5. Cyril Richardson

I’m just going to start treating Zack Martin as a guard because I don’t think teams think he is going to play right or left tackle. Xavier Su’a-Filo is a good player who won’t win any beach body contests but he wins in a power based run system.  Joel Bitonio is a college left tackle who will make the switch to the inside, which he did at the Senior Bowl and drew positive reviews.  He could start some games at tackle if needed, this versatility gets him drafted in the second round.  Gabe Jackson is what offensive line coaches draw up when they make a guard, 6’3 330lbs of road grater.  Jackson also is a good pass protector and I think he helps a team right away. I sill like Cyril Richardson and I don’t get the lack of attention. He would be a perfect fit for a run based team and I think someone gets a starting guard who can flat out bulldoze people in the 4th round.
