Bengals’ 2014 Camp Battles

As the team continues to accumulate young and talented players, the Bengals will continue to be faced with difficult decisions regarding where to take the roster and how to put itself in position to conquer the playoff hurdle. This year may present some of the most significant roster battles of recent memory. The team’s transition to new coordinators on both sides of the ball will take time. It will also inevitably produce some surprising and disappointing cuts. There just isn’t enough room for all the talented players on this roster. Because of this, special teams considerations will play an especially prominent roll as these young and talented players try to secure their place on the team. The debate amongst fans will be fiery once training camp rolls around. It’s just too bad we will not have the opportunity to see the battles via Hard Knocks again this year. Here is an early look at some of the significant positional battles that will be taking place over the summer of 2014.
