It was a big day for AFC North quarterbacks in the receiving game.  Both Johnny Manziel and Andy Dalton caught passes, but Manziel can’t do it like Dalton clearly.

Here’s how Manziel pulled it off–by pretending to be confused talking to his coaches.

Manziel’s catch was nice, no doubt, but unfortunately the play was negated by an illegal shift penalty.

Meanwhile, Andy Dalton managed to make the most of a Hue Jackson trick play, which resulted in Mohamed Sanu’s second completion of the year.

Making the catch at its highest point with a defender right on him, Dalton manages to take the ball “to the house.”   Admittedly, the young cornerback, Blidi Wreh-Wilson clearly misjudges the play, but nonetheless it’s a nice play by Dalton.  Here’s a highlight allowing the play to be seen closer up.

Dalton and the Bengals went on to destroy the Titans 33-7 where the Titans lone TD came late in the game.  Meanwhile, the Browns could’ve used a little Johnny Manziel magic as they weren’t able to hold on for the win against the Ravens losing 23-21 on a 32-yard field goal as time expired.
