AFC North Stock Report: Week 4

Cincinnati Bengals (3-0): Stock Up
The Bengals are only one of three undefeated teams left in the NFL along with the Cardinals and Eagles. They earned an opening season win against the Ravens in Baltimore, grounded the Falcons’ aerial attack, and manhandled the Titans (as they should’ve) at home. Andy Dalton has looked spectacular while showing signs of getting over his biggest downfall: working against the blitz.
The start to the season couldn’t have gone much better at this point.
The Bengals bye week couldn’t have come at a better time considering how many injuries the team has overcome thus far. Defensive leader Vontaze Burfict will have the opportunity to get over his current concussions (two in two weeks) while the returns of Marvin Jones and Rex Burkhead are likely. The team isn’t saying much, but Kevin Zeitler’s return is possible, as is Brandon Thompson’s, but neither seems likely. Regardless, getting their defensive leader and a serious weapon on offense back will give this team a huge boost when they face the Patriots in Foxborough in Week Five.
It seems all things are clicking right now for the Bengals. They’ll face their toughest test yet in Week Five. Until then, their stock is unequivocally up.
