Week 4 is the start of bye weeks in the NFL. Fantasy football owners are scrambling to finish their rosters and fill the gaps left by those inactive players. Here are my top 3 last minute additions for this week’s matchups.
#3 Miami Dolphins Defense:
They face off against the Oakland Raiders who are 0-3 this season. The Raiders have yet to score more than 14 points and are led by a young inexperienced quarterback. The Miami Dolphins have been able to control a New England offense but the past two weeks they have struggled. This is the week that it turns around with holding a low scoring Raiders team to a mediocre 10 points and forces at least 1 turnover.
#2 EJ Manuel
If he is available or already on your roster, this is probably a good week to start him. He is going against a Houston Texans team that stumbled against a very poor New York Giants offense last week. He has thrown only 1 interception in 3 weeks and if he can be kept safe by his line, he can be very dangerous. He has averaged only 1 touchdown pass per game, which is what makes him a great last minute option. I look for him to break out in week 4.
Drumroll Please!!!
#1 Owen Daniels
Dennis Pitta is done for the rest of the season and that leaves Owen Daniels as the main tight end that Joe Flacco will rely on. Flacco loves to check down and Daniels will be the target. I look for him to see 5-7 targets catching all but one or two and as a PPR (Points Per Reception) league will be a difference maker on your fantasy league.
There is only one thing left to say, Good Luck this week!
