We had a chance to talk with New England Patriots Fansided Editor Cyrus Geller from Musketfire.com. He gave us a great inside look into how New England is preparing for this game and who to watch for. He even gave us a prediction on Sunday night’s game.
Stripe Hype: The Cincinnati Bengals haven’t beaten the New England Patriots on the road since the mid-1980’s, what advantage do you think this Patriots team might have to keep this streak going?
"Cyrus Geller: The Patriots, and specifically Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, are terrific at home, and even better when coming off of a loss. New England was embarrassed last week in Kansas City, and the most terrifying thing in the NFL world is an angry Belichick and Brady at home."
SH: Outside of Tom Brady, who has seemed to struggle early this year, and other than Rob Gronkowski, who are the players the Bengals really should really keep an eye on in this game?
"CG: Stevan Ridley and Julian Edelman. The latter has been the only consistent threat on this offense through four games and I expect the Pats to go to him all game on Sunday night. However, with that said, look for New England to establish the running game early and Stevan Ridley is the guy that will best do that."
