It was reported last week that A.J. Green may miss yet another week with his injured toe.
Good news & bad news for @ajgreen_18. Told me his toe won't require surgery, but expects to miss week 7 too. Will see Doc again Friday.

This seems to be proving true as A.J. Green was missing from practice today yet again.
No sign of AJ at practice

In response to Green’s injury, as well as Marvin Jones’ move to the I.R., the Bengals signed former Browns receiver Greg Little this week. His signing represents depth at this point as Mohamed Sanu has played like a star list year while guys such as Dane Sanzenbacher and James Wright have contributed when called upon sporadically. Jermaine’s Gresham redemption on Sunday was big for the Bengals. They look to him to continue this campaign in the coming week. Beyond this, Emmanuel Lamur and Rey Maualuga weren’t not practicing today following their injuries on Sunday. The Bengals seem to be readying themselves for their absence after signing Nico Johnson from the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad today.
NEWS: #Bengals sign LB Nico Johnson to the roster from the Kansas City practice squad

It’s a solid depth signing, but the Bengals really need Vincent Rey to step up as he did last year during Maualuga’s absence.
The bright note after all this, Kevin Zeitler practiced in full today; the first time since injuring his calf.
Kevin Zeitler practiced in full with his calf injury today. He was not a full participant at any time last week. #Bengals
