Winner: Mohamed Sanu

Despite A.J. Green’s return to the lineup, budding star receiver Mohamed Sanu simply wouldn’t let up his assault on opposing defenses.  Sanu had yet another spectacular day with four catches for 95 yards including a 19-yard touchdown pass.  He also chipped in with a nine-yard reverse run midway through the third quarter.

Sanu has had an absolutely fantastic year thus far helping the Bengals to overcome the loss of A.J. Green all to often this year; this along with the loss of Marvin Jones for the year and Tyler Eifert who has been out since Week One, but who is now eligible to return from the I.R. list this week.

Sanu has amassed 39 catches (28th in the league) for 628 yards (14th in the league) and four touchdowns (25th in the league) this year.  But his impact has also been felt both in the running game and when throwing the ball on the several trick plays the Bengals have run.

Sanu’s presence has been and will continue to be invaluable for this team as they head into the second half of the year this Thursday when facing the Cleveland Browns at Paul Brown Stadium.  Sanu is a major reason why this team currently sits in first place in the league’s best division.  If the Bengals are able to qualify for their fourth straight playoff appearance this year, Sanu will likely be a large reason why.
