The Cincinnati Bengals had a golden opportunity to get their second division crown in just as many season. They lost the title in week 17 when the Bengals got swept by the Steelers in the regular season. The Bengals dropped in the power rankings this week but they will make their fourth playoff appearance in a row.

ESPN.com has the Cincinnati Bengals ranked 9th in the final power rankings before the Wild Card weekend kicks off. Here is what they had to say about the Bengals.

"The Bengals are in the playoffs for a fourth straight season, but can Andy Dalton finally break through? He’s 0-3 with one passing touchdown, six interceptions and a 17.5 Total QBR in his playoff career."

NFL.com’s Elliot Harrison has the Bengals ranked 11th in his final power rankings. Here is what he had to say for the Bengals heading into the playoffs.

"Worried about these Bengals. You realize that, despite having twice as many wins as losses, this team has only outscored its opponents by 21 points? That points to a lot of escaping — and getting rocked a few times. Before #WhoDey nation starts jumping all over me, just remember who was lobbying for Jeremy Hill to be lead back months ago. Still, I have to ask: Are you worried, Bengals fans? (@HarrisonNFL)"

USA Today has the Bengals just sliding into their top 10 power rankings at number 10. Although they slid the Ravens just ahead of the Bengals, they forget quickly that the Bengals beat them twice and have a better record.

"Jeremy Hill had four carries in the Week 7 shutout loss at Indianapolis. Expect that to change, especially with A.J. Green hurt."

The Bengals will get their fourth opportunity to break a 20+ year old playoff winless streak. They have gotten past the Colts and Andrew Luck before, but the regular season meeting this year went to the Colts. The Bengals must play better than week 17 to win.
