With the 85th overall pick, the Cincinnati Bengals select….Jesse James.

James, a 6’7”, 254-pound pass catching tight end, is what the Bengals are looking for.  He takes heat for his lack of blocking ability in the run game, but let’s be honest, he plays on a sanctioned-riddled team with an average quarterback.  In Cincinnati’s system he could really flourish.  James could be a situational player if Tyler Eifert is able to stay healthy while also acting as an insurance policy if Eifert gets injured once more.

With other Big 10 prospects like Devin Funchess and Jeff Heuerman likely off the board, James is the perfect tight end for Cincinnati.  All three of these guys are interchangeable here, with Funchess being the best fit.  If he is still available at 85, look for them to go for a Wolverine over the Nittany Lion.
