Four straight years to the playoffs and four straight wildcard losses leaves the Bengals organization in a state of confusion. Being only one of four teams to make the playoffs each of the last four seasons would make one think the team is burgeoning, but for the Bengals, things seem stagnant and potentially heading in the wrong direction.
If you ask the average Bengals fan about who needs replaced in an effort to rejuvenate the team, you’re most likely going to hear they need a new head coach, quarterback, and defensive coordinator. Yet, football is a team sport and pinning everything on just a few people seems both shortsighted and not conducive of success.
While these fans could be right, let’s look at who else, besides the three aforementioned names, must step up in 2015 both for themselves and in order for this team to succeed.
