DE Marcus Rush, Michigan State

A perfect last name for a disruptive defender. At his Pro Day, Marcus Rush impressed scouts with the following: 40-yard dash (4.68), vertical jump (34-inches), broad jump (9-feet-9), three-cone drill (6.73), 20-yard shuttle (4.22), 60-yard shuttle (11.49) and bench press (24 reps).

The Bengals sent linebackers coach Matt Burke to the Pro Day and also had Rush in for a visit. Much like the Marquis Flowers pick last year, some might be surprised at this one, but at this point in the draft, you go get guys that you want. Rush notched 18.5 sacks and 37.5 tackles for loss during his collegiate career; 12.5 of those sacks and 18 of those tackles for loss came during his final two seasons.
