Terrelle Pryor is probably still known more for the tattoo incident that ended his career at Ohio State than his NFL career, but after being selected by the Oakland Raiders in the 2011 supplemental draft, he knows Hue Jackson (who was coaching the team at the time). Pryor didn’t see the field until 2012 with the Raiders though. During this time he showed more with his feet than he did with his arm.
Completing less than 50% of his passes in 2012 and turning the ball over 13 times (in 11 games) in 2013 earned him a spot on the bench. He spent the 2014 season with the Seattle Seahawks behind Russell Wilson, but didn’t see the field past the preseason and was ultimately cut from the team.
Pryor should have some motivation though as he was cut before camp even began after signing with the Kansas City Chiefs only a few months ago. He has another chance closer to home to earn a spot with the Bengals.
