It’s amazing how the NFL and fantasy football works. Last year Gio was going in the second round of fantasy drafts where expectations were meet with disappointment. After the emergence of Jeremy Hill, Gio looks like a clear complementary/change of pace back. This is a great role for Bernard in the Bengals offense, but a dreaded label for fantasy purposes. With that said don’t let Gio’s role change completely turn you away from drafting him later in your fantasy draft. He will still get touches and is probably one of the best handcuffs in the league if you draft Hill early.
Highest recommended draft position: 9th round
