The Cincinnati Bengals and New York Giants have been practicing together since Tuesday and those who couldn’t get to see the progress attending one of the open sessions during training camp will get their first look at each team tonight. The Bengals coaching staff will be looking at both the depth of this team as well as bubble roster players during real game action.
We will not see much of the starters, but competitions will be fought on the field and not between the Bengals and Giants. There are still a number of positions to be fought for with the number four wide out up for grabs, a battle between Thompson and Still has emerged for the backup at the defensive tackle position, and special teams spots still remain up for grabs.
The Giants come in missing a few key players like Jason Pierre-Paul but they will be looking to find a spark in a 2014 lack luster defense behind first round draft pick Landon Collins and third round steal Owamagbe Odighizuwa. The Bengals will look to Jake Fisher and Tyler Kroft to show off what the future holds for this organization.
